Tri-County Reading Council

Our council offers wonderful, literacy, professional development opportunities for our members.  We decided to keep the PD coming.  TCRC will once again be providing practical PD for our teachers to use immediately in their classrooms, the very next day!  So join the excitement, the camaraderie, and the local support/network we provide at all of our meetings.  We hope to see you there.

Book Study
We have big plans for the council this year.  We have scheduled Amy Williams from Berrien RESA to help deliver some useful professional development.  We are planning to use the book Learn Like a Pirate (which seems to be all the buzz) as our overall umbrella of discussion.  This will not be your typical book study session, though.  We want to use the book for some common language and as a stepping off point for bigger and better things.

We are planning to offer SCECH's this year, so we have added an extra meeting in January to allow for earning up to 6 SCECH's for only $5.00.
