Myla Lee serves as a national consultant for literacy and project-based learning. She has presented her work at Michigan Reading Association, International Reading Association, and ISTE conferences, focusing on various topics first field-tested in her classroom. Much of her work explores inquiry in an authentic classroom culture. In addition, Myla currently works as the Project-Based Learning Specialist with Technology Integration for Novi Community Schools (Michigan). With over 20 years of classroom experience, she works with administrators, teachers, and students to implement integrated PBL units grounded in technology and current best practice. As a teacher/researcher, and in collaboration with university educators, Myla has researched, presented, and co-published on multi-cultural reading, education, and book club practices. Through the ISTE-affiliate organization Michigan Association for Computer Users in Learning (MACUL), Myla also supported teachers across the state in designing rigorous STEM project-based learning unit. Myla strongly believes that PBL is the platform for relevant learning steeped in literacy and technology integration.
